Finally My Bedroom Light is Fixed!

As you can see from the title, my bedroom light has finally been fixed, after one week. I guess I'll always have to remember that the pace of Australia is very very slow. Luckily I will only be here for a year. I think I'll go crazy if I have to stay here permanently. At least now I'm back in the sanctuary of my room and wouldn't have to worry about disturbing my housemates.

Remember I was the last to leave the room for my first practical? I had another practical for another module on Thursday and guess what? I was one of the first to complete the questions and leave the lab. It was quite a mentally stimulating lab session as we were given an Infrared spectrum and have to find the structure of the organic molecule. Ok, I know most of you wouldn't know what I'm talking about. That was my intention, to confuse and disgust everyone. Well, I actually enjoy solving those questions. It was kind of like solving jigsaw puzzle and I like jigsaw puzzles. However, the next practical session will be a test on our skills for solving the structures. Hope I won't flunk it.

I think I was too stressed out last week and made most of you worry about me. Don't worry, I'm alright now. I just remembered that my polytechnic life was also spent in half-understanding state. Half of the time, I didn't really know what I was studying but I still managed to scrape through and got myself a diploma. Anyway, all the lecturers reassured us that they will not try to fail us as it will look bad on them if we fail. It does make sense and I feel much more secure now.
