Good News!

Good news, everyone! I went to weigh myself today and realised that I've gained 2kg! What a surprise! I wonder how I managed to gain weight since I eat more back home than here in Aussie. Maybe it's the air quality (no wonder Ang Mohs are 'bigger'). A few weeks ago, I had realised that my jeans and shorts seemed a bit tighter and I thought they had shrunk. Well, turns out I have expanded. Haha...

This goes to show that my theory is correct - eating less will make one fatter. So, to my friends who are trying to lose weight, maybe you can try to eat more. Who knows, you might end up being skinnier. By the way, I'm not going to take responsibility for whatever's the outcome. Haha...

Seriously, it might be due to the fact that I drink much more water here in Aussie. The weather is so dry here that one gets thirsty very easily. And speaking of water, I really should go and buy some bottled water for emergency use. Guess what? They actually closed off the water supply in my street for more than 3 hours! I know Brisbane is facing drought but do they really have to do that? Nearly died of thirst that day...

And did I mention that I experienced blackouts? Twice?! The first time, I had just finished my shower and was drying myself when everything went black. The second time, I was halfway through one of my assignments. Luckily for me, I'm the super 'kia-si' type who always click 'save' whenever a new sentence is added.

好消息！我重了两公斤！自己觉得很莫名其妙，那两公斤从哪来的？因为我在家吃的比在这里多。较早前发现裤子似乎比较窄，那时还以为是裤子缩水了。可能吃多会瘦，吃少会胖吧！想减肥的朋友不妨试一试，不过后果自负。哈哈。。。

说真的，可能是因为在这里我喝很多水吧。天气太干燥，很容易口渴。布里斯本正在治水，前几天，整条街的水源被关了超过3小时！我在这还经历了两次停电。第一次，我刚洗完澡，正准备穿衣。第二次，我正在赶报告呢！还好报告没被消失，不然就前功尽弃了。。。

上星期五我的室友们参加朋友的万圣节派对所以没煮晚餐。这是我上星期五自己煮的晚餐-快熟面+鱼饼+荷包蛋。我的荷包蛋看起来还不错吧？比上次的美多了吧？

这快熟面还蛮好吃的，等考完试，我要到中国城去买一箱然后慢慢欣赏。哈哈。。。

My clubbing and shopping "Kaki" - Cerina. After so many years (9 years to be exact) of shopping together, she really does know my taste. I absolutely love the Cinderella optical mouse that she gave me. By the way, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I know you are very busy with work and your birthday would already have passed by the time you see this.


Together with her boyfriend, Alan, they gave me a Cinderella optical mouse, a laptop webcam, an ear-piece for use together with the webcam and a very sentimental card.

Not sure if you all realised that I took this photo. I guess I must be one of the few lucky ones who have such a big send off party. Even the custom police at the gate was very amazed and asked me if you all belong to me. Haha...

认得出照片里有谁吗？我的欢送队伍应该是真的很大吧，就连机场警察都觉得稀奇，还问我你们是不是都和我一起的。

The plane that took me away to Aussie. A word of advice, don't take Qantas if you can. It's so damn small! And I thought it should be a very big plane because they cater to 'ang mohs' and most 'ang mohs' are so big size! In fact, the French guy sitting next to me managed to take up some of my space too (but I didn't really mind. Hehe...). Anyway, it's just slightly bigger than Jetstar and so much more expensive. I'd rather pay a bit more and enjoy the guarranteed comfortable ride from SIA.

Rubbish Dinner

That's my dinner for tonight. My housemates did not cook as they were out with their friends. It's a rubbish meal but at least I'm happy!

我的"姐妹淘"。 这一天我终于知道自己的面子有多大，就连好久没出现的雪莉也到机场送我。她的出现让我很意外、感动，可惜没时间聊久一点。

My 3rd postcard from Sindy... Are you going to send me one every month? I wouldn't mind it though. Haha... You know, I've always believe in trying almost everything at least once. I'm a science student, I like experiments. The only problem with me is that I don't try hard enough.

朋友中跟我最要好的Sindy，认识11年了。她送我的webcam被留在新加坡的家,让我妈能每天见到我。

我手中的是她织给我的“温暖牌”围巾，收到时是很意外也很感动。我在这里也时常收到Sindy送的温馨小礼物和卡片。

Hey, finally saw your photo here, happy? I know you've been waiting very long for your face to appear on my blog. Initially wanted to put yours as the last but I don't think you want to wait that long. Haha... I might not say this as often as I like but I really do appreciate all that you've done for me. Josephine，和我一起在新加坡理工学院念书的好朋友。我们也很巧的被各自的公司安排上同一个课程。

Josephine在机场送我的礼物，是一个相框。照片是在我出国的一个星期前一起去clubbing时拍的。

今天是Josephine举行传统结婚仪式的日子。要不是我人在澳洲的话，我今天应该是姐妹团的一份子！

自己一个人出门有点寂寞，约朋友有时又觉得有点麻烦。
我爸抽烟时不需要听我埋怨，明年会去时再继续念他！
重点是，一个人真的不知道该睡右边还是左边，因为床太大了！
